You are very welcome to be here, dear Strypes (mornin' and peace to you!).

All - mornin' and peace to you! Just an FYI: I have picked up a couple of little work projects ( one, teaching Law & Ethics online Sunday evenings (for 18 weeks) and another reviewing files for a housing project in SF (for about 2-3 weeks, depending on how fast I go)).

The second is exhausting me because I either have to commute both ways in uber-heavy traffic OR I have to take public transportation and then walk 12 blocks each way (and one way is slightly uphill!). I'm not complaining - I am enjoying both projects and I LOVE the walks (wish pups were with me!), BUT... I have been utterly exhausted when I get home!

So please forgive me for being away when I am. I don't mean to neglect here or anyone and will be back in full in a bit. For now, though, gotta do a little "tentmaking" - LOLOL!

Peace to you all and to your dear households!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar

In San Francisco? That is a "slight" understatement, I suspect! But regardless of the hills, I'd forego the Bay Bridge traffic and the parking hassles, and call the walk from the BART station as the daily exercise the doctor insists upon. Your opinions may vary!

Good morning/ afternoon...

Hope everyone is doing well.

Our visit is going great with our son and fiancé. Been a house ( apt) full with them and his cousin from San Diego. Sharing the 2 baths have been interesting ( imagine many do it with just one) so no complaints really!

Enjoy your project Shelby ( working and teaching) and will see you soon ( smile)

Take care everyone, enjoy your weekend,
Justmom /:)

I absolute do consider it that, dear GL (peace to you!). The uphill part is not one of those typical SF steep hill, but a gradual grade so I should be better "conditioned" by mid-week next.

Peace!

Shellamar, waving at dear 'Mom (peace, luv!)... on her own

Good Morning everyone and so sorry I have not been posting here lately. I guess I just haven't had anything to offer this forum lately and a lot of the threads were way beyond my level of comprehension.

It has been a really long and cold winter so far, very depressing. I am not getting out much but I am attempting to eat healthier and am gradually changing my diet which involves a lot of food preparation. That's about all I have been doing.

I don't drink coffee at all anymore but I make some everyday for John. I make tea for me.

Here is some for you all

Ah thank you Zoe! I really have missed ya, and variety is the spice of life don't forget? Thx for the coffee. I am making a pavlova today. First time I ever cooked a meringue! I don't know why it's taken me so long it wasn't that tricky!

I'm trying to diet but battling with an urge to bake at the same time, but today I'm out for tea with hubby's daughter and family (hubby's landed a job and has to work away from home this week) so I'm taking a pavlova along with me.

Loz x

Glad to hear your okay. Sorry about the cold weather. It does get one down! At least for me it does.
Our weather is holding out beautifully for our sons visit as it is -2F where they are from. It has been in the 70's for them. So glad. But we do need some water real soon!!!!

Just your dear presence is "offering" enough, IMHO, dear Zoe (peace to you and to dear John!). I notice that at times you post very wise, timely, and or pithy sayings on FB - perhaps there are those who can "use" that, as well. You know me - I'm not one to be much of a "welcoming committee", at least, not in the conventional way, but JAH sets the members in the Body as HE pleases. Your morning offerings of coffee/tea have always "warmed" MY heart (and spirit) and I am sure, as dear Loz's comment shows (peace to you, as well, dear one!), others feel the same. I will say, though, if I'm not being too personal (and if I am, please forgive AND disregard)... it also warms my heart that you still want to MAKE dear John coffee - LOLOLOL!

I kind of understand that, dear one... but please, ALWAYS feel free to ask for (further) clarification if you want/need to. Any one of us, including our dear Sher'f, would do whatever we could to make sure any who WANT to but don't think they do/can understand. We are servants of one another and so no question is "wrong" (unless its purpose and intent is malicious - and I've never perceived that from you!). While we may not be able to solve folks' personal/life problems, we can share what we receive as to SPIRITUAL matters. And I have no doubt any one of us who CAN... WILL. And for free!

I will offer, though, and I truly mean NO offense in doing so... that if you truly WANT to know, then just KEEP seeking, KEEP asking, KEEP knocking... because it will be opened to you if you do! Do not grow impatient or tire out. I realize that it may seem difficult or trying, at times, TO "keep" doing such thing; the life of THIS world sometimes causes us to feel "tired," whether as to our bodies, our relationships, our situations (employment, housing, finances, health... what have you)... if not push us to tire out altogether. But if our treasure truly IS spiritual things... so that our heart is on things of THAT world... we will find joy, versus burden, in learning about/discussing them. Our own perspective... and desires... which WE control... can play a large part in how these things... mmmmmmmm... feel TO us... as well as make us feel.

I hope that makes sense... and I hope that helps, truly!

Again, peace to you!

YOUR servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar

Oh, I have to agree Zoe... just you being here is something to offer. Saying good morning or offering those wise pics, or asking questions, (and I have noticed that these questions that anyone asks often lead to us all learning something. Takes courage to ask a question, and a lot of the time, it is a question on many other people's minds, that they don't want to ask, themselves.)

Peace!

tammy

LOLOLOLOL! Okaaayy?? I THOUGHT that, too, dear At (peace, luv!)... but thought, "Nahh, don't SAY it, Shel!" LOLOLOL! I am sure dear Zoe (peace to you, too, dear lady!) understands our humor here! I HOPE she does! Just kidding (winks at dear Zoe)!

Peace... and sometimes you dear folks just make me LAUUGGHHH! LOLOL!

Good morning everyone.

I'm sorry you're sick Shelby (from the goodnight thread). I was sick last week too. It just drained me, so mostly I just rested. So feel better soon!

My son is still home because he finished his exams at the beginning of the two exam weeks. So we are going to play risk today. That should take all morning ; )

Peace,
tammy

Good morning
A little bit went around our house as well last couple weeks. So far not me, thank goodness!

So glad you and your son have some real old fashioned fun together. Most kids just wanna sit on their iPhones, iPads, headphones and tune the world out!

Enjoy your time together, it goes by fast.
Speaking OF.... My oldest and his finance left this am. I drove them to San Francisco airport. We ALL had a wonderful visit. It went by fast. Very emotional to say goodbye but it was great to be together.

Enjoy your day everyone
Love Justmom

I'm glad you had a good visit Justmom!

My son won, and it took all morning AND all the early afternoon, lol. I have to go get my little one in ten minutes; I have not showered; I have not attempted to start dinner; I have not done anything at all... except lose every single territory to the dark forces of Sauron (it is a Lord of the Rings Risk). We may rematch on Thursday, his last day home before going back to school.

He is very pleased with himself.

Peace,
tammy
