Thank you all for your well wishes. I am feeling MUCH better... in fact, the flu or whatever that started... kinda just passed me by. So that I only started to get sick... had some body aches... was waiting for the full brunt to hit me... but nothing more happened. I am thankful!

So I just wanted to check in, and I am thinking of you all.

Hope everyone's holiday was great and everyone is safe and sound.

It was a great day. Went to the movies with family ( Shelby, hubby and her two beautiful grown children) laughed, had sushi and came home. Totally stressFREE! Now that's what in talkin about.

Back to work today and it was a great day!

Good morning everyone!

Your stress free movie day sounds great. How were the movies?

I have the kids home for one more week... so one more week for all of us being able to sleep in : )... but things are calming down here again now. Thankfully. I am really tired this year, and my little one still hasn't recovered from getting up at 4am Christmas morning, then staying up until after 10pm that night, lol.

Glad to here everyone's had a chilled out holiday time. We've enjoyed some lovely times together and with hubby's family, and tomorrow we are off to stay with friends for new year. I'm very tired too Tammy, not sure why exactly, maybe it's just winter blues with me? I hope you all enjoy the rest of the break.

Woo Hoo!

I don't have to work tonight. Seeing as it has been -40 all day, and is now -30 ( a mild improvement, lol), i did not want to go out anyway.

The hot water tank at my work busted, and I just got a call that we are closing tonight. It has busted before, and we have not closed. But that was a pain... because there is no hot water for the dishes, and one of the chefs was boiling water to help with dishes.

I am sure that they are even more happy that we are closed rather than having to look forward to more of that.



So I have two more days off added to the four in a row that I just had : )

Yay!
