@Shelby - I love the movies at a big screen theater, I used to go every month and have the popcorn too. Used to cost us around $60 to go to the movies. I didn't mind paying the money it is so worth it. Hey I am glad at least someone can do it.

@Happytobeout - I got The Judge movie downloaded so now that I hear its a good movie I will watch it soon.

I just finished watching The Judge. I liked it and at least there was redemption. If only it would not happen more often in real life.

Oh, the movie was good, btw. Cute, funny, and surprisingly also a bit sad.

I also watched Maleficent. That was REALLY good. Don't want to say anything in case you have not yet seen it. But so worth watching. I very much enjoyed that one.

Peace again!

Just watched the Giver.

That was a GOOD movie. Most, if not everyone, here should be able to relate to it. First thing the main character asks at the start is if he should be sorry for what he did. He gives the answer at the end, and that answer is, imo,... perfect.

Anyway, I highly recommend.

Peace all.

The movies on my list I want to see the most is Gone Girl and Wild. I have to wait until they come out on DVD as I can't go to the movies.

I checked out The Giver, sounds very good, it has some good actors too. The Jw's should watch it, what with their perfect paradise hopes and all.

We saw Fury on Saturday, I did not care for it, I hate war movies.

OMG, I downloaded The Giver, it sounds exactly like Paradise JW's want. All the words like elder and dress code and the language code etc. LOL

Went to see "The theory of everything" last night. Wonderful film. Eddie Redmayne's acting performance was truly exceptional.

Gonna see it, dear Loz (mornin' and peace to you, dear lady!)... as well as "Jupiter Ascending" (maybe today). Along the lines of your movie, though, if folks haven't seen it, see "The Imitation Game." Absolutely Oscar worthy. VERY good film. "Selma" was very good, too, although I had to hide my eyes, from time to time (I was young when all of this went down but still remember the effect on my parents - one of the reasons we migrated to California: my parents were from Virginia, which is STILL a bastion of racism even today - ya'll remember me telling you about not being able to go the loo at the "white" Lutheran church JUST ACROSS THE ROAD from my family's "black" Lutheran church. Like, what the frick??).

Sorry, dear Loz... the mind wandered.

Anyway, I want to see "The Theory" because of what our dear Lord has been sharing lately that I've shared with you all, more of which I will share in a bit.

Peace, dear one... to you and dear hubby!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel

I will have to watch The Imitation game, we have it but haven't watched it.

I saw Gone girl, very good movie and it followed the book almost exactly.

I saw Wild, interesting but it hardly covered even 1/3 of what was in the book, the book is much better. I loved the movie but its not worth going to the theater and paying all that money, wait for the DVD.

I saw American Sniper - EXCELLENT but sad.
