Looking forward to seeing Oblivion, Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, Upside Down, Star Trek Into Darkness and After Earth. Might not be a boring summer after all. 8-)

There ARE some totally awesome movies coming. I am excited :)

The only thing I've seen recently is the Croods... so awesome. I have been watching some good tv shows though... Game of Thrones (loved the end of the last episode); and the new Defiance. Vikings is pretty good also. Supernatural will be over soon, and so will the Arrow, but I like those two as well.

Peace,
tammy

Watched Requiem for a Dream last night. Yikes! What a story! The actress that played the mother was astounding, she completely immersed herself into the role, so much so that at points it was uncomfortable to watch.

Recommended, but definitely not a 'first date' kind of movie...

Ah this is an excellent movie :)

Also check out "Spun" which is sorta in the same vein but not as disturbing as Requiem :)

Thanks for the recommendation!

We watched The Master tonight. It is a steaming pile of crap. I cannot understand how some movies get Oscar nominations.

Go see:

42, The Jackie Robinson Story (really good)

I second the motion! You don't have to be a Dodgers fan, let alone a baseball fan, to enjoy this movie. It is a very well told story of the darker side of an era that many of us are old enough to have lived in. See it!

Again in the same vein check out "Redtails" a retelling of the history of the Tuskegee airmen the first all black flight squadron.

Just made a HUGE bowl of popcorn and am about to sit down and watch Skyfall with Mrs Smith. Saw it on big screen when it came out and loved it, time for a re-view on DVD....

What time does Sean Connery go to Wimbeldon?

Tennish.

I watch so many movies and shows I don't know what to say I like most.
As far as TV shows I guess I have to say Homeland is my all time favorite right now. I love Game of Thrones show too, I read all the books.

Hi Zoe, what are some movies you've seen recently?

Anyone seen Ironman3 this weekend?

I'm not sure any movie is worth standing in line for hours for!
Gonna wait til it does down a little,

I indulged myself watching Shane again the other day. I just love classic Westerns!

Here are a few I have seen recently:

I loved Jack Reacher, The Last Stand, Zero Dark 30, Argo, Django, Battleship, Act of Valor.

Also Red tails, Red Dawn, Taken 2, Expendables 2, Hunger Games, The Session, Silver linings playbook and the list goes on.
