An old forum friend Alan Feuerbacher died Monday.
His wife Julie posted this on Reddit
Quote:
I saw that one of the members made a post about this yesterday, but I wanted to start a new thread so that people who knew Alan would see this announcement.

Alan died on Monday. Although he wasn’t nearly as active in recent years as he had been in the past, he was a prolific researcher and writer starting back in the early 1990s, when he participated in discussions with JWs on UsenetNews (talk.religion.misc). As the Worldwide Web came about, he moved to various forums over the years, and many in the ex-JW community are familiar with his work.

He devoted much of his life to this work, and I would like to think that’s how he’ll be remembered. That would mean a lot to him.

We are going to put together a web site where people can post their memories, but until we do, feel free to use this post as a place to talk about him.

Julie Feuerbacher

What a loss to the exJW Community, I` m going to miss him.

Sad news, dear Sher'f (peace to you, dear friend!). Thank you for sharing it.

Peace to you, dear Auntie, and the fam!
