I'm not a REAL ataloa, ya know. I just play one on here.

My name is Teresa.
There!
Been wanting to do that for a while. Now those of you that know my name won't have to worry about slipping up and saying the wrong thing : )

I applaud your courage, dear At (peace to you and can I still call you that? Changing habits isn't that easy for me anymore and so I avoid doing so when I can - LOLOL!).

But no longer hiding our identity is a step closer to real freedom, especially from the WTBTS. True, some may not want their identity known for other reasons (work, neighbors)... but getting past caring whether JWs/the WTBTS knows cans be huge.

Congratulations, dear sister, and peace to you!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel, shaking head and laughing at dear Voices (peace, luv!)

Yeah It's that awkward moment when you realize you have no plans for life yet you know exactly what you're going to do in a zombie apocalypse.

lol Voices.

Yes, Shelby, still call me At- it's much more efficient. The thing that concerns me is that, had I known I would not remain anonymous, I might not have said so much about family members, etc., who can now also be identified. I have to apologize to anyone who might have their feelings hurt about that. Some from my old congregation already know who I am on the internet anyway.

Hi Teresa, I must say that is easier to pronounce than your other name.

I have to confess I am not Zoe. My name is Paula.

When I was in grade school, there was a native American girl in high school named Ataloa - I thought she was quite the lady. I guess most had difficulty trying to pronounce her name and ended up just calling her 'T'.

Yes, dahling, I know. I recognized you from your posts. Someone should write a children's book about ataloas and zoes - not as characters, but as types of creatures overrunning the woods or something : )
