Greetings and Peace to One and All, as our Lord provides it: While on the Internet, I came across this Egyptian artifact and was wowed by the image it presented. Don’t know really what it means when the artist first created it way back when or as to what the current Egyptologist suggest it means or says; but, when I saw it, I saw it as men genuflecting before a serpent, you know, kind of like: “Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.…” kind of thing. (Philippians 2:0-11) And of course, there is the comment about “truth” that the Egyptologist does mention. I’m just sayin’. . . hmm. Anyway, just thought I share it. I am made to wonder, Why would an ancient people be bowing/genuflecting before a serpent? One of those things that make you go . . . hmm. Peace! That's pretty cool, Armand! I don't think I have anything to say about it, because well, it seems so obvious, doesn't it? I didn't see the comments about the carving; I was just looking at the picture. Maybe I'll take a second peek. But thanks for sharing that! Very interesting, Armand (peace to you, dear brother!). The "whispers", albeit quite faint, started as soon as I saw it - LOLOL! As our dear Lord (and you dear ones) know(s), stuff like this tends to result in my going on a research tangent (even to the actual Valley of the Kings!!!) - LOLOL! But trying to make sense of ancient Egypt's many... many... many gods... well... There is "something" here - I have just not heard clearly "what," yet (somehow, I think that return trip to Egypt will be involved, at some point), so I will need to reserve further comment for now other than to say the dating puts it after Tut... which actually makes sense to me.
