Especially from someone 'else', none of us know.

I was a little hesitant to post it, since some of his stuff is way out there and my spirit does not bear witness with it, but as you pointed out Shel, truth is truth. I am fascinated with his story and am waiting for him to finish the series, so I can see where he's 'at' today.

I have never read or heard anyone else say the cloud was dark, but it's all right there in the bible. Amazing.

Yeah, some of his stuff is a bit out there BUt I think it is because of his exposure to other things such as buddhism and new age spirituality stuff.
Our experiences tend to "taint" how we describe things and how we see things.

Biblically speaking the "coming of the son of man in the clouds" is not how most people tend to think of it.
People tend to see Christ coming down in the clouds BUT the analogy is from Daniel and in that He is ascending, not descending.
What Stephen saw was Christ seated in the heavens, not descending, just there.
I think that people tend to want to see "pretty " things and that is why angels are good looking with sweet white wings of doves instead of how they are actually described in the bible.
