Dancing in Jaffa

Philomena

Very interesting, both. And very good. I highly recommend.

Oh, and "Saving Mr. Banks." But that's another forum too
..

Enjoy, if you check them out... and peace to you!

I loved the movie Philomena!! I read the book before I saw the movie. The book covers more than the movie did about the son and his life and his search and longing to find his Mom. The movie is mostly about the Mom and her search for the son. I gave up a son for adoption when I was 20 so I relate to stories like this.

I saw Saving Mr. Banks too, it wasn't what I expected so it was a lovely surprise to see it was mostly about the lady that wrote the book about Mary Poppins.

Haven't seen Jaffa?? I will check that out.

You are too cute, dear V (peace to you, luv!)... and your wonderful wit/humor does NOT go unnoticed! LOLOL!

I loved Philomena, too, dear Zoe (peace to you, as well!) but Saving Mr. Banks even more (I cannot fathom why that one was not nominated for, let alone received, an award! It was one of the best movies I've ever seen!). Dancing in Jaffa... the premise and outcomes are just very, very interesting. I would elaborate but not until maybe a few more folks have seen it. Maybe.

Peace!

They both look good. I watched the preview for Dancing in Jaffa, and loved that... so i know I am going to love the movie, and all the interesting things that it reveals.

Peace,
tammy (who used to watch powerpuff girls with her son, and loved them too, lol)

We viewed it through "On Demand," a feature of our cable provider (Comcast/Xfinity), dear tec. You might be able to find it is video form on Google, though. I found these (not sure if they work, though):

Well, I watched Philomena. Great movie. Oh, so much to say about what happened in it! Not sure where to start yet.

Still working on watching the other one.

Peace,
tammy
