Donkey on a Cross.
Was meant as an insult to Early Christians.

Alexamenos Graffito
This graffiti is a mockery of Alexamenos, an ancient Christian, and a mockery of a God who would die the shameful death of a criminal.

Hopefully, other pieces aside from the Alexamenos graffito have been purposely removed and placed in storage. He is a former journalist who left the newspaper business to raise his five children.

The Word in and Out of Season. No clear consensus has been reached on when the image was made. The disproportionately large head looks towards the crucified figure, and the right eye and mouth are visible.

The inscription is etched over four lines, with the first word divided. There were also times of peace and freedom in which Christians were allowed to bow before Jesus. We won’t publish comments that lack charity, are off topic, or are more than words. You even worship their stables.

It doesn’t make them hurt less to know that they’ve been flown at us for 2, years. Among the relics, secured high on one wall, is a curious piece of graffiti.

That was based on the misconception that Jews worshipped a god in the form of a donkey, a claim made by Apion BC — c. Alexamenps with being one of the oldest surviving representations of Jesus, it may also be one of the earliest depictions of the Crucifixion of Jesus, since the event was only rarely depicted in Christian art before the 6th century.
It obviously mocks a Christian, suggesting that his worship is ill-founded. See additional notes at end of the page. There were different forms of execution on a cross. Yet this is not a religious icon meant to elicit awe or worship.

This early 2nd century graffiti was found on the Palatine Hill in Rome. It represents a crucifix with an animal's head and a person in an act of adoration towards him, with the inscription "Alessameno adora Dio". This graffiti has been interpreted by archaeologists as a mockery of the Christian cult of Christ. The animal's head has been interpreted as the head of a donkey or a mule. It is a very valuable testimony that the early Christians not only knew that Jesus was crucified on a cross, but they worshiped him as God.

I`m guessing there was no Watchtower in the 2nd Century.
To tell everyone Jesus didn`t Die on a Cross.
