Another article I read says “former” member so no doubt he was disfellowshipped. They said he left the church community about 18 months ago, "but apparently not on good terms." It happened about 9:15pm probably around the time their meeting was ending, imagine the chaos.

Truly sad as you mentioned. But could be this poor person was abused inside for many years and covered up ( something the watchtower still denies) or is part of the LBGTQ group and shunned by his entire family and thrown out and snapped! Something that definitely could result in mental illness.

Whatever the reason, it was a truly sad situation.

There is no way the WBT$ is going to take responsibility for this...

It`s another Golden Opportunity to Support and Advertise the WBT$ Story Line.
See what happens when you leave God`s Organization...The Outside World is out to get JW`s.
The only Safe Place is God`s Organization". (The Irony of that, will be lost on Most JW`s)

Persecuted JW`s, Jailed JW`s and Dead JW`s.
Have always been a Great Promotional Gimmick for WBT$ Internal Advertising, Targeting Loyal JW`s.
The JW Victims of the shooting, may even get their pictures on the cover of a WBT$ Magazine.

While that does sound Despicably Cold and Calculated...Remember...
