Can't say if it breeds them, dear Zoe ( mornin ' and peace to you, dear lady! ) but they have at least 5 things going on that I'm sure are contributory:

1. Unhealthy sexual repression due to everyone being in everyone else's bedroom; while

2. Always talking about sex and related taboos;

3. Very naive members whom they all but force to have sex by pushing marriage at young (for the times we live in) age;

4. No real consequence to those who do molest;

5. Children/"virgins."

You know, the typical environment of religion... which is where most illicit sex takes place (save bordellos). Even schools don't have as much of this activity, although there's a lot there, too.....Shelby

Another one!!! OMG there is so many. What is wrong with men. I realize I was molested to by a elders son who was 17 at the time and I was 9 but I didn't know that fondling was molesting. That boy is a elder now with 5 children. Wonder if he still molests people. Does the JW religion breed molesters?

We shouldn't be surprised that there is so much molestation in religions, though: wolves aren't PICKY as to how the sheep are fleeced, snatched, etc. They're wolves, after all, so HOW the sheep are devoured... and that it's by wolves of, say, a different (kind of) "pack" is irrelevant. Heck, the RCC has LONG been a haven for homosexual deviants. It's all but RUN by such since it's inception. Don't get me wrong - I don't mean that being homosexual is deviant. I mean that just like there are heterosexual deviants (i.e., men who prey on little girls), there are homosexual deviants (i.e, men who prey on little boys). Altar boys weren't boys just on a fluke. None of the priests in the temple were boys. Indeed you had to be at least 20. The deviant popes and bishops of the RCC just kept wanting younger and younger boys for their own APPETITES.
