"Jesus commanded us to not forsake the gathering of ourselves together" No, he didn't. "We get to Jehovah through the elders." Blasphemy!!!!! I started having a panic attack in my seat. No one flinched. No one even bat an eyelash. They cannot even detect the lies among themselves!!!!!!! |

Okay, the first lie is bad enough... but the SECOND? OMG... and then, again, since he isn't IN that city/harlot... maybe not so surprising. He's holding out his hand, dear LQ (peace to you, luv!). All you gotta do is grab it. Not even his hand, luv, because his SKIRT is enough. Just grab it... in faith. Then let HIM carry YOUR load. And he will. You just gotta have FAITH... that he WILL do as he SAID he would... so as to DO what he said: "DISOWN himself, pick up his TORTURE pole... and follow ME." You can do it, luv. Just move past (your) fear... into HIS... PERFECT love. As always, peace to you! YSSFS of Christ, Shel |

As for no one flinching at the SECOND lie... well, that's 'cause they're asleep, luv. Y'see, depending on the level of sleep... sleeping people rarely feel, if at all, even when a burning knife is thrust into them. And these folks are DEEP in sleep. Literally comatose. So, no wonder none of them flinched at the LYING "sword" thrust into THEM. Peace! YSSFS of Christ, Shel |

To be sleeping whilst such blasphemy is being spoken is so dangerous... I just hope that it plays on at least one mind in that hall and causes them to wake up! |

In a conversation with the studious "brother" before the meeting, we talked a bit about the holy spirit and he said, "The holy spirit operates through the pages of the Bible. It can't bring it to our mind if it's not in there in the first place." The meeting was starting, so I said to him, "I beg to differ with you, and I'll tell you why later." Of course, I didn't get a chance to after the meeting, but when the meeting started, after song and prayer, I opened my Bible, and the first place it landed was at 1 John 3. I almost burst out loud laughing because maybe he was right after all, or maybe not... On the same page is 1 John 2:26,27: "I write you these things about those who are trying to mislead you. And as for you, the anointing that you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to be teaching you; but the anointing from him is teaching you about all things and is true and is no lie. Just as it has taught you, remain in union with him." I kid you not... first place I opened, quite by accident. Or was it? |

Oh those songs were horrendous! The dodgy piano, depressing singing and deary voices... I thought it was all about 'singing praises' not wanting to pull your brain out through your nostrils with a crochet hook! |

The songs are even worse (for the most part) with the new song book. As for singing praises, well, not quite. Very few are actual praises. Most are songs spouting WT doctrine. |

Quote: "Jesus commanded us to not forsake the gathering of ourselves together" No, he didn't. He didn`t?!..Who said it then? Quote: "We get to Jehovah through the elders." Blasphemy!!!!! I started having a panic attack in my seat. The name Jehovah is a 13th century catholic translation mistake.. The WBT$ wouldn`t have a Bible or a name for their Fictitious God without the Catholics Quote: No one flinched. No one even bat an eyelash. They cannot even detect the lies among themselves!!!!!!! They`re used to lies.. I`ve never been able to get 1 of them to speak truthfully when they come to the door.. Your going to drive yourself crazy if you continue to participate in WBT$ Activities.. The WBT$ was not meant for honest people, thats why honest people leave.. ![]() ....... ![]() ........................................................ ...OUTLAW

Quote: Quote: Quote: "Jesus commanded us to not forsake the gathering of ourselves together" No, he didn't. He didn`t?!..Who said it then? Whoever wrote Hebrews. I'm not entirely certain who the author was as the author is not named. Some say Peter. Some say Paul. It certainly wasn't Christ. |

Not sure as to the 1 John 3 reference, dear LQ (peace!), but sometimes, if we CAN'T hear Christ right out, what is written will serve as a reminder. As 1 John 2:26, 27 did here. LOLOLOLOLOLOL at the image given by dear WS (peace, luv!). Lazarus (who also wrote the account attributed to "John") wrote it, dear Sher'f (peace, to you, too!), in his letter to the Hebrews. Even so, he did receive that admonition from my Lord; however, it had nothing to do with getting together for meetings - he meant to not forsake the work of the Bride... who, with the Spirit... keep saying "Come!" so as to GATHER the holy ones in preparation for the return OF the Spirit, the BrideGROOM, Christ, the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah). Peace to you, all! YSSFS of Christ, Shel |

Quote: They actually said that!!! You get to Jehovah through the elders? OMG! So the elders are a medium. This religion is really going to far with this stuff. A "brother" in the audience said this. WTBTS did not. I have to keep in mind that WTBTS is not saying these things. These are coming from individual JWs. But still... A while back, an elder that used to be the COBE in the cong, but moved away, was back visiting. He commented (I wrote it down because it was so audacious), "Jehovah is the first shepherd. Jesus is the second shepherd. But they can't do anything without the other shepherds." Talk about jaw-dropping (for me)!!! Of course, no one blinked, then, either. Again, this came from an individual JW, not from WTBTS. Quote: Not sure as to the 1 John 3 reference I only put that in my post because if you happen to have the RNWT and turn to 1 John 3, you'll see what I saw. It happened to be the chapter on the page, but before that, verses 26 and 27 from chapter 2 were there near the top. Chapter 3 had nothing to do with it other than a visual reference if you have the RNWT. |

Thanks LQ & Shelby!.. From wikipedia.. Quote: Main article: Authorship of the Epistle to the Hebrews By the end of the first century there was confusion over the author’s identity. Clement of Rome, Barnabas, the Apostle Paul, and other names were proposed[by whom?] with little conviction and no unanimity. Later, others[who?] have suggested Luke the Evangelist, Apollos and Priscilla as possible authors. Though no author is named, the original King James Version of the Bible titled the work "The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Hebrews". However, the KJV's attribution to Paul was only a guess, and not a very good one according to recent majority scholarship.[2] Its vastly different style, different theological focus, different spiritual experience—all are believed to make Paul's authorship of Hebrews increasingly indefensible. At present, neither modern scholarship nor church teaching ascribes Hebrews to Paul. ................................ ...OUTLAW
