A Manchester-based Jehovah’s Witness congregation has lodged an appeal with the charity tribunal against the Charity Commission’s decision to open a statutory inquiry into safeguarding issues at the charity.

In June, the commission announced inquiries into the Manchester New Moston Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and the religion’s governing body in the UK, the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Britain, amid concerns about safeguarding and whether trustees have complied with charity law.

The regulator first looked into the Manchester congregation after revelations came to light in May that a former trustee of the charity, who served nine months in prison for the indecent of assault of two girls, was allowed to question his victims in front of a congregation of elders after his release.

A spokesman for the Watch Tower said at the time the inquiries were announced that there would be appeals against both. An appeal was lodged last week in the name of the six trustees of the Manchester-based congregation, according to an update to the tribunal register of cases, published online yesterday.

The same spokesman said today that the Watch Tower would also appeal against the inquiry opened into it, either in the tribunal or elsewhere. "At the moment we’re looking at what our legal position is, and we’re considering whether to bring a judicial review in the High Court," he said.

Appeals against the opening of statutory inquiries are becoming more frequent – this is the fifth review application received by the tribunal so far this year, compared with two in 2013, none in 2012 and one in 2011, according to the register of cases.

Charity ? The Watchtower never did a charitable act in its history.
They clothe and feed no poor people, they run no soup lines,
they collect no food or clothing to distribute to the poor.

The scripture in Matthew 35:40 " I was hungry and you gave me
something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,
I was a stranger and you invited me in" ...... is interpreted by the
Governing Body to mean the "other sheep" or "domestics" service to
the "faithful and discreet slave" or service to the seven men called
the Governing Body. They reach out to help no one.
And if you do not agree with that opinion, they shun you.

The so called "work" is nothing at all but distributing magazines and books.
There is no Charity

Remember, according to the WTS:

They are "prophets", but not prophets.

They teach how to "hate" people, but not hate people.

They allow "worship" of Jesus, but not worship.

So, they do "charity"... which no one but those they hoodwink think is really charity.

Homeless person, someone dispossessed by a flood or earthquake - give him a copy of The Watchtower, and if he looks really hungry, throw in a copy of Awake!.

There you have it, Watchtower "charity" - filthy whorelike borganization that it is.

Remember, you can only get to WTS-Valhalla if you manage to do both of the following, against all expert Bible-language experts:

* Fraudulently render "God" in John 1:1 as "a god".

* Fraudulently insert a comma into Luke 23:43, to pervert the promise of Jesus from a promise of immediate paradise to his fellow crucifixee to a unspecifiedly delayed one, all to support the Watchtower's demonic mistranslation.

The Watchtower Society and the Jehovah's Witnesses Cult is an embodiment of
SPIRITUAL PORNOGRAPHY, a WOLFISH TRICK, a MOST FILTHY LIE, a CHEAT, a SCAM,
a DISGUSTING ABOMINATION, a BLASPHEMOUS INSULT, a WICKED FRAUD, a DISGRACE,
a SCANDAL, a PEDOPHILE PARADISE - and a DAMNED OUTRAGE from start to finish.

John Foster - or whoever you are-
I find your "classes" quite amusing.
Really funny. Your "class" gives me a lift. So ironic.
You have nailed it my friend.
This is the core issue for me, the creation of "classes"
The scriptures say clearly " you are neither male nor female, Jew or Greek,
you are all one in the Christ.." Galations 3:28 ALL ONE

The divisions of classes, "earthly" "heavenly" "faithful and discreet" classes
are all false doctrines - FALSE DOCTRINES - Ask your self ex jw wherever
you are - Do you believe in these False Doctrines of "classes" ??

It would appear the authorities in the UK don`t know the WBT$ is above being questioned..

Well said, John Foster!
