Well small minds find it difficult to think past their own little "worlds," dear ANOMOS (peace to you, luv!). I mean, what TRUE Christian could teach others that if they see someone in need its OKAY to walk right past them, just SHUT the door of tender compassion on them... or worse, if they ask for food give them a magazine? How's small does your mind... HEART... have to be to even tell someone its okay... when you/they have the ABILITY ( at the time) TO give? How do they rectify such thinking with the account of the GOOD Samaritan?
What, did they think he should have said, "Say what? You were robbed and beaten and left for dead??! I'm SO sorry! Too bad! Well, I was out with my friends sharing some good news and I JUST happen to have with me a little scroll that'll tell you why that happened to you! I could leave it with you... for a small donation, of course... and maybe come back next week if you have any questions! What? Yes, right back here! I mean's not like you're going anywhere, is it? What? Oh you don't actually LIVE here the gutter? You really WERE to robbed and beaten!? Pardon me, I mistook you for a homeless person and thought you were just saying that cause you wanted to play on my sympathy and get some money from me! One has to be careful, you know, as there are homeless people EVERYWHERE and they're all just drug addicts, criminals, and cons! What? Oh, yeah, sure... we visit prisons and some of our members are pedophiles. But those are REAL cons and criminals!! NOT like these street people... who try to TRICK us into thinkin' they're REALLY hungry! No all they want is our MONEY! But now, you say you AREN'T homeless? And you have a job, too! Well, in THAT case... I ALSO have a fancy gray (in color AND in truth BIBLE that I'd like to give you! For a small donation, of course!"
