Sometimes, a very large bucket of boiling water works even better than "love" (term used as per TM Watchtower).

We are dealing with a filthy disease here. Tragic as it may sound, one cannot focus on the millions of victims, most are much too far gone to be economically salvaged.

The focus must be on the prevention of further vectoring of this foul plague, and the eradication of its root cause with maximum prejudice.

I specialize in making the most appalling trouble, usually beyond the imagination of the recipients, for those filthy members of the "Swine" Class (term minted by the Watchtower in their 1917 "The Finished Mystery") who, knowing the WTS to be wholly false, still support it or defend it. I do it because it needs doing, because justice cries out for it, because deterrents are needed - and because I enjoy doing it.

To many, this makes me "evil".

How can someone who laughs when their actions cause an evil person to commit suicide be other than "evil" himself, they cry.

My response is - Excellent! I don't care if any think I am evil. I'm not evil at all, but since in the WTS and ex-jW worlds I'm largely dealing with people whose own judgement is pretty suspect, "lol" is the persuasive effect of their bleatings on me.

I place this explanation here to avoid misunderstandings. I am wholly unconcerned with whether I have the approval or disapproval of others. I know what needs to be done and will do it. When I need assistance, I will ask for it.

I hear you, dear Focus (peace to you!). Maybe it's not so much what you (think you need to) do... but the "joy" you get from doing it that concerns some.

Most JWs are really more to be pitied than hated especially by those of us who used to be JWs. Because whether we wish to admit it or not we not only were once a part of them but a part and condones of what they DO. For whatever reason, though (for me, my dear Lord who called me) we got out. Some voluntarily, some thrown out. Some both.

Had we known then what we know now we most probably would not have been a part or condoned... but we did. If not directly then indirectly.

As such we would have wanted someone to help us SEE... rather than blindly condemn us. By blindly I mean thinking we KNEW what we were "doing"/a part of.

So while JUST ICE may absolutely call for the desire and pursuit of that harlot's demise... MERCY calls for SOME compassion in that pursuit. Because mercy TRIUMPHS... OVER justice. At least, for the true christians.

It is the false christian who can't see that truth and, sadly, will RECEIVE the same "judgment" with which THEY judge. So one might wish to take care when speaking of... and meteing out... "justice."

Because taking joy in one's enemy's demise is not necessarily a good thing. That's because it often takes the SAME kind of thinking... and so HEART... to even WANT another's demise. Not always... but sometimes. So I have learned... from my Lord, the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah), that checking one's own heart throughout is prudent. Regardless of whether one cares what others think of them or not.

And you are quite right, dear Skalls ( peace to you, luv! ): I will never comprehend it. I think perhaps it's just not IN me to do so, luv. But that's a lack I really don't mind having. I am not sentimental, melancholy, or nostalgic, no. And I can be desensitized as to some... many... things. But I haven't lost my sense of compassion. Well, not yet, anyway. Hopefully I never do.

Because, again, I, TOO, once was lost... and blind. AMAZING grace changed that for me. There is no one I wouldn't want to receive that same UNdeserved kindness... mercy... IF they want to TURN AROUND so as to RECEIVE it. Not even the worst criminal.

Sight... contrition... and repentance... are very powerful things.

I don't expect YOU to understand MY position... any more than you expect me to understand yours... though.

I am not up on who John Foster is and what his background is but he sounds quite angry and on a mission. Is he finding Joy in bringing down the Witnesses or is it the Watchtower?

Personally I would be happy to see the demise of the Watchtower corporation and it's leaders. I do not find it joyful to put down the members or to mock them or to call them stupid. They cannot help being blind to the real truth. I was once in that position and feel I am so lucky to have seen the way out. I think the best way to help them is with love and kindness. Sarcasm and confrontation only makes them believe that apostates are the bad guys.

Who are any of us to determine what brings "Joy" to each of Us?

I Know of this kind of "Joy". It feels like no other joy I've EVER felt. It truly does Move Me in Ways I could not possibly describe with words here without being completely banned from the site.

I absolutely en-JOY making each ADULT JW know of these "Joys". It is my calling. It is my obligation. It is my duty. I WILL Oblige.

I hope the joy that you feel today Knowing your daughters light bulb got switched on sooner rather than later, fills you to the brim.

Sigh. No one can... and no one tried to... determine... what brings another joy, dear Skalls (peace!). The comments from ME were as to my inability (and lack of desire, admittedly) to UNDERSTAND something that perhaps brings YOU and some others joy. Dear Zoe's comments were simply to say she believes love and kindness work better (which dear 'Mom once tried to share SHE believed as well)... which I'm not entirely sure I agree with in ALL cases, but certainly in many if not most (I mean, there ARE some people who take kindness for weakness and don't well-regard you UNLESS you walk all over them... but then I think these are to be most pitied as needing to BE abused in order to respect another human is, IMHO, a sign of psychological if not SPIRITUAL sickness...).

The demise of the WTBS is a given. The writing is on the wall! In Jahs time...in Jahs time !!

But yes, remembering we were once ONE OF THEM! And during that time, we gulped down that koolaid and forced others to do it as well.
By the grace of Jah and CHRIST as Shelby pointed out... we can SEE!!!

And being vindictive, sarcastic and unloving towards trying to expose them only makes their assumption true....that when ones leave Jah they go off the deep end as apostates and they are vicious and cruel. They do and say crazy evil things.

Now we may not actually be doing any of these things and they will still say we are. Sometimes it doesn't matter. We're dammed if we do and we're dammed if we don't.

But if we truly are following CHRIST as to our actions then we can SAY with all honesty the verse that says the same as with regards to our Lord, " They hated HIM ( and will US) without any cause".

Because a slave is no greater than his master, if they persecuted Him, they will persecute us.

Well, well... Poor reading comprehension, perhaps, on the part of one or two respondents, who fail to get the point. No surprise, par for the course.

Let me explain in more detail.

I never play nasty with the first type, i.e., jWs who are genuine, bona fide believers in the idiot cult.

I may give them a virtual (though very hard) smack around the head, or stick a virtual claw into their privates, to awaken them - but I will do so lovingly. I am currently engaged in just such emergency medical assistance on the TOPIX board. My raca interlocutor, who has troubled the illustrious AlanF there for years, seems not to understand that I am being very gentle with him... breaking him in, you could say. He is already screaming - with joy, I presume.

If he persists in denial, though, he might need to be reclassified as belonging to the second type.

Now to the second type. I will play as nasty as it gets with the filth who, knowing the WTS is a disgusting lie, still propagate the foul disease, or interfere with my kingdom-proclaiming work. They are certain to find my reaction disproportionate. Frankly, dear, I couldn't give a damn.

Probably, a significant minority of those in positions of Elder, and an overwhelming majority of those higher, are perfectly aware of the scam, and so fall squarely within my remit. And some ex-jWs and non-jWs too, who, while seeing the WTS as a fraud, think it amusing to stop those exposing it.

How do I know which is which? Some of the time, it is evident by conduct (misconduct). Other times, less so. I readily give the benefit of the doubt. Never attribute to malice what is also explainable by idiocy, I say.

As to my enjoyment, it must be gawd-given, right, believers? I am filled by the Holy Spirit (blasphemy and the like against which is the only unforgivable sin - yes, Phookus knows the Babble inside out and back to front and his opinions thereon are found within skepticsannotatedbible and similar sites - so mind that you don't mock it) at the time of holding the spiritual criminals accountable for their heinous spiritual crimes.

Yes, I take pleasure in my work. And apply Matt. 7:1 before judging me, lest I apply Matt. 7:2 to you. Got it?

Nothing wrong with MY comprehension, dear Focus ( again, peace to you! ). I'm just not very good at reading between the lines. I tend to read "red" when someone consecutively posts the letters "r-e-d." Now if they MEAN blue, then the letters "b-l-u-e" might have helped me reach that understanding.

I did not get... nor "see"... in your posts the two different "JWs". I apologize for that but I was probably too "focused" on what you POSTED versus what you now say you meant. I do understand now, though, the difference and thank you for clarifying it - it does explain your "joy" a little better. At least, those responsible for it. And I can see why one might have some joy in such situations, even if I wouldn't.

As for the verses you mention, I'm not sure we see eye to eye on the application here. I can only speak for myself but I can't see where anyone judged anyone... except to the extent of NOT thinking mercy might be warranted. Certainly no one judged YOU.

I certainly didn't but only shared that I don't understand the JOY you derive from your METHOD of doing your work. But please, by ALL means be about doing YOUR work. You don't answer to ME (no one does); to each one's own master he/she will stand or fall.

The above withstanding, please know the only thing in my eye here, though, were your type-keyed words. Which I took literally. I apologize for that. I can't help it. I'm kind of a "say what you mean, mean what you say"... person (perhaps touch of aspie to blame). I realize (after close to 50 years, though, so shame on me!) that most folks DON'T say what they mean, etc., and so i am always ver grateful when they DO clarify. So again thank you for doing so.
