Stay peaceful, loving kind and gentle with these abused babies. Continue to draw them out like asking questions to their own teachings and let them try and explain it. Some will begin to see how silly it is.
Ask them if you want to...To show you where in the scriptures our Lord taught this. And what did our Lord actually SAY.

I don't deal with bible stuff. I don't care for much of what is written there. I deal with cults and their lethal, fostering of hate and destroying of family nucleus' crap. That is what I am best at.

And mom: love is what you get, when love is what you give. JWS are null and void on this dynamic. That lady got off very easy due to the fact a young girl was involved in the convo. So, yes, this lady and I were having just an adult discussion and polite banter. Wait til I see her at the kh and ask if she recalls coming to my door.

What concerns me however, is that this girl may very well have been told later to DISREGARD ALL THAT I SAID.

Um, I doubt this could even be a possibility. A seed was definitely planted with this child. I spent the majority of my message looking right at HER...INTO HER EYES, SMILING AND TELLING HER TO NOT EVER BE AFRAID TO EXPLORE WHAT U WANT 4 UR LIFE AND UR FUTURE FAMILY, WHEN IT COMES TO UR SPIRITUALITY.

If that's how ya wanna look at it Skalls to each his own.
Although JWS don't understand the concept of what Love really IS...doesn't mean we can't " rise above them" and show them what love of neighbor and OR enemy OR treating people the way we want to be treated OR being a Good Samaritan...IS all about!

But that's just what or how I would react to this situation. Seems to usually have better results. And if it doesn't then ooh well, I can sleep at night knowing I personally did what I could do in the most loving way possible.

Love is not a concept any adult jw comprehends. It would have been an entirely different situation had she had an elder or other lady or a young adult jw. THEY ARE NOT AT MY DOOR BECAUSE THEY CARE ABOUT ME. THEY ARE NOT TTHERE OUT OF GENUINE LOVE. I'M FUTURE BIRDFOOD TO THAT LADY. THEY WANT ME TO RECRUIT OR THEIR GOD IS GONNA KILL ME. PERIOD. ANYTHING ELSE THAT COMES OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS IS DECEPTION.

It's not like she happened upon some ignorant householder. LOL!! HER MESSAGE IS DEATH FOR ME IF I DON'T RECRUIT. I'M GOING TO MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THEY CANNOT PLAY ME.

I gotta go with dear Skals on this one, dear 'Mom (peace to you, both!). JWs in general have absolutely NO concept of love. Theirs is a FORM of "godly devotion"... that proves FALSE to its power (of love). I know you know this. Very little "natural affection" going on there, too. And I know you know THAT.

I think dear Skals showed that young girl more love than ANY active JW could/would/can show her. She felt enough FOR that girl to say what she did... even with an adult JW standing there. It could turn out to be life-saving (I mean, if the girl can understand that there IS life after the WTBTS and so, at some point, LEAVES... because she now knows that perhaps she CAN).

But maybe we're misunderstanding you? Or maybe you misunderstood her?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding evrabuddy...

Just was trying to share that although I realize JWs have no concept of love doesn't mean we can't still share the love.

How we share the love may be different for each of us. Not saying my way is better just different.
And I shared how I would react in a situation. I may have misunderstood you Skalls by this comment as I took it to mean that JWs don't give/ show love so their not going to GET it.
