They call them "public" meetings for one reason... and make NO mistake about this: to maintain their 501(c)(3) tax exempt status with the IRS.

Ah, thank you for that clarification! I heard that they had 'public' meetings for financial reasons/gain, but I did not how that would be. Now this makes sense why some of them get so angry/indignant. If public is what they say outwardly and for their own gain... but their hearts say something entirely different... well, 'out of the hearts abundance, the mouth speaks'.

Peace to you,
your sister, servant, and a fellow slave of Christ,

In order to qualify for 501(c)(3) tax exemption status (i.e., your organization is exempt from paying taxes), it MUST "benefit" the "public." It cannot be a "private" entity, per se. It can be a non-publicly held organization, but it cannot restrict its services to a private group. Hence, all schools that receive federal funds MUST be open to the public. And all churches/religions that want this exemption from the feds... MUST be "open to the public."

Of course, such schools/religions can TEACH whatever they WANT in their institutions... so long as they open the opportunity to BENEFIT from what they teach... to the "public."

We all know, of course, that with most parochial schools, you can be of any religion. You can't bring your religion and have it overstep, per se (i.e., you can't change the RCC doctrine to, say, Hindi doctrine, in an RCC parochial school), but you can at least DISCUSS it in many (higher education) classes.

Imagine that at a WTBTS meeting... or school... though. Discussion. At ANY meeting or "school" (TMS, MTS, Gilead), what have you.

Doesn't happen. There is no discussion. Rarely can one even ask a question and CERTAINLY not during anything other than the (former?) Book Study or during one's Bible study. There absolutely is no opportunity to debate/disagree.

Can't happen. Cannot.

So, it's not REALLY "public," as there really is no opportunity for the PUBLIC to engage. It's "public" because even anyone who is not one of them can come... and get their sundry... I mean, Sunday... "earful."

Peace!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellamar

YES!

EVERYTHING they do is either for a financial gain or to ultimately destroy/ devour your spirit. Remembering it is the adversary that breathes life into this beast, the WTBS disguised by a so-called Christian religion which calls itself " the truth".

1 Peter 5:8 " KEEP your senses.. Your adversary walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone."

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 " For such men are FALSE apostles, DECEITFUL workers, DISGUISING/ TRANSFORMING themselves into apostles of CHRIST. And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps DISGUISING/ TRANSFORMING himself into an angel of light. It is therefore nothing great if HIS ministers also keep transforming/ disguising THEMSELVES into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works."

They are ministers of the adversary who keep disguising ( transforming new light when the old isn't working or making any sense any more).
They are the farthest thing from TRUTH as they call themselves " the truth" and deny its members access to the TRUTH ( by eating and drinking of His body and blood) which is CHRIST, who is the tree of life.

And there is still time to " Get out of her ". Because her plagues will come.... " But their end shall be according to their works." And we do not want to be caught inside.

Love and peace to you all
Your sister and fellow slave of CHRIST, Kim

Absolutely! And if during a meeting someone raises their hand to comment and they think it is someone who might not answer exactly out of a publication or might be someone who might question...they will NOT even call upon that person to comment at all!

The is no freedom to question! Even if you take it to the back room later, you are told to " wait on Jehovah"/ the governing body and not to teach or promote anything outside of what the WTBS is CURRENTLY teaching as it will be apostate thinking then. ( now if in two years new light changes that teaching, then it is NOT considered apostate thinking anymore) LOLOL.....

Ooh my ooh my.... We must pray for these poor people inside remembering we were one of them ourselves. But by mercy and undeserved kindness our Lord Jaheshua MischaJah, the chosen one of Jah has allowed us to see through them.

Love and peace to you, Kim
