Hello and good morning everyone. I hope everyone is having a nice New Year so far. Here it is COLD, this morning it is -2 Fahrenheit, windy, gloomy and snowing.

My question come up because my son and his family were visiting me for belated Holiday thing yesterday. They moved last summer to a beautiful house in the country with 4 acres and a LONG driveway which isn't frequented by sales people and strangers. Anyway a couple of months ago a car comes in their driveway with 4 ladies in it. Two get out with tablets in their hands and knock on the door. My son answered and they didn't say hello how are you or introduce themselves they just asked if there was any deaf people in the house. My son said no and who are you. They said they were JW's and then left, were not interested in talking to them if they weren't deaf?? My daughter-in-law belongs to a Mother's Group in her community and she asked about that to them and a lot of the Mother's said they had the same thing going on with JW's coming to the door and asking if anyone was deaf or blind in the house.

So is this a new gimmick to find handicapped people to prey on?

I`ve heard of this, but it was with "Spanish Speaking People"
JW`s would ask if there were any "Spanish Speaking People" in the house.
The WBT$/JW`s are just adding the deaf to their "Lets find a Fresh Victim" target list.
They will keep adding to the list.

Likely from a congregation comprised of mostly deaf people. Here in America, they are callled “ASL Congregations” (American Sign Language). These congregations focus solely on deaf people., so they go out looking for them. Four ladies doing that for field service... what a waste of time. How can they call that preaching? They didn’t preach a thing.

Not sure if reaching out to the deaf is so new. The newest method I know is all they use are iPads now to reach ANY folks. When we were witnesses we had a small group of us learning sign language in order to reach the deaf in our community.

Where I live and work we have a huge diverse community. A lot of Hispanics. Very regularly on saturdays a group comes out to our property while I'm working and they look lost LOL. I've gone out to try and spark a conversation lol and then ask if I can direct them to an address....they say they are looking for " Spanish speaking individuals". But that isn't so new here.

Well it all seems silly to only focus on one thing, if they want to tell everyone the good news of the Kingdom out of LOVE then why can't they tell who ever they encounter about it. They can't seem to think outside of the box anymore. Like Robots they are. So sad.

Question - Do JW's have a new preaching gimmick now.
