Speaking only for myself, I "went there" because there are two gentlemen arm in arm, dear Focus (peace to you!)... and I've reason to believe there were... have been... are... SEVERAL homosexual men in the WTBTS leadership. As is the case with MOST religions and particularly the more prominent ones.

To Prez Rutherford's right is Charles van Amburgh, long-time Treasurer/Secretary of the WTBTS, whose expertise was in false accounting, tax evasion and in committing perjury when giving evidence for the WTBTS in court in various ill-conceived actions or defenses.

van Amburgh wrote a wonderful book, The Way To Paradise, in 1924 that was published by the WTBTS. Here's some of its wisdom (pages 34 & 8 respectively), showing that in addition to being a cheat and a liar, van Amburgh was an idiot:

Perhaps the problem is your overestimation of most here's concern as TO the WTBTS, dear Focus (peace to you!). While discussions ABOUT the WTBTS and its false teachings are welcome here, many have moved on from allowing them to be any kind of a REAL force... negative OR positive... in their lives. Hence, we no longer keep up with much of the WTBTS "trivia" out there. Because we KNOW their false, fake, lying, conning, cheating, thieving, imposters. We no longer have to read articles, current OR past, or secular commentary to know this.

I am not taking issue with YOUR need to do so. It's just that we TRULY have a different AGENDA, which some can't quite seem to grasp. SOME folks, perhaps you, wish to expose the WTBTS merely as a secular scam using wordly wiles to trick folks into believing they're actually true prophets so that they can cheat and mislead folks out of their money, land, etc. And they ARE... and so more power TO you all for exposing that.

OTHERS wish to expose them as a den of deprivated perverts who do nothing more than set up traps for children so as to lure THEM into abused... sexually and otherwise... or allow others to do so. And they ARE... and so more power TO such ones for exposing THAT.

Yet, others of us see their leaders as the descendants and an extension of the corrupt priests, and hypocritical scribes and Pharisees who sat THEMSELVES in the seat of Moses, portending to be mediators between man and God... instead of Christ. And THAT is what we seek to expose... for those who are still VICTIMS of her fornication.

Please, then, excuse us for not only not "knowing" who is who in your image... but actually not really CARING. Wait, I don't mean that as an insult/offense, truly. I am responding to your comment or surprise that we don't know... with an explanation as to WHY we (might not). It's just not important to US... as OUR agenda is not to YOU.

So, you should feel free to just go on an tell us, because most probably NONE of us will be able to guess. Again, not being sarcastic, at ALL, truly. Just being truthful.
