The new DVD release fro the Watchtower. I had a hard time watching it as its such propaganda.
What are your thoughts here if you can handle watching it?

Already know I can't (handle it), dear Zoe (mornin' and peace to you, dear lady!), so please excuse my absence of comment. I just can't take any of this poison in as it makes me feel ill... and out of sorts... sometimes for a bit of time. zoe, keep this video bookmarked. next time jws, with a child, come r ur door, tell them u r so glad they r there, how ironic it is, cuz i was jst watching a jw video and was disturbed and have feedback and questions, and went to ur jw.org site to VOICE THESE, BUT THERE WAS NO SUCH PLACE TO DO SO....so now that ur are MIRACULOUSLY AT MY DOOR...

Care to address my concerns?

See, after today, and having all this technology available, and knowing that this org is damaging that child on my porch; knowing, as i lived what she's living now [ i told her about the special needs kids in our community could sure use the jwe kids at our events] and that these adult jws are absolutely nothing to F-alse E-evidence A-ppearing R-eal...instills in me that I AM DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR MY COMMUNITY AND THE OTHER COMMUNITIES OF CHILDREN THAT NEED PEOPLE THAT ARE WATCHING OUT FOR THEM...KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON THE ADULTS THAT ARE GOVERNING THEM AND THEIR WELL BEINGS.

My head is spinning now with all that I intend on accomplishing in this feat. The kingdumb hell holes of this community and that of my childhood are about to get EDUCATED. WTBTS is going to wish they never unleashed jw.org and thought it was a good idea. I can be extremely relentless.

Wt is not going to know how to deal with being hounded to REVISE THEIR SITE TO INCLUDE FEATURES FOR ALL PEOPLE TO INTERACT WITH THE SITE, THE PEOPLE ON THE SITE AND THE ONES WHO RUN THE SITE. IT WILL PRESSED UPON THAT IF THEY ARE TRULY GOING THE INTERNET ROUTE AND ARE NO MORE OPEN TO IT...THEN REFUSING TO IMPLEMENT INTERACTIVE FEATURES WILL NO LONGER BE AN OPTION TO DENY.

I have a mission. I have set a goal.

LOVE that, dear Skalls (peace to you!). I am learning that so MANY who "fake" their way through life... whether via association with a religious cult like the WTBTS... or in their profession/vocation... or just as a human being... fear is usually behind it. Primarily, fear of what others might think (of them)... but also fear... of death.

I just know recall something a friend said to me long, long, ago. She had found herself pregnant and married her boyfriend, although she KNEW prior to that he wasn't the right man to marry. But she feared what her parents would say if she raised the child on her own. She said, "Yeah, Shel - fear will make a person do a lot of things they would never think they would do." I would add... or think they were even capable of. Due to her fear she married a man she didn't love... but had to pretend she did (because of her fear of HER parents, who were some serious Bible-thumping Baptist folks. And she was their late-in-life only child. Talk about pressure...).

That reminds me of what I touched on with this lady and girl....

that the public are viewing videos produced by your organization, and have serious concerns and/or feedback and have no other place to inquire of such, other than questionable sites. the public and/or people newly engaged in ur religion, need ur site to provide features that allow interaction and discussion. WE CANT KEEP WAITING TIL U R AT OUR DOOR.

Zoe, if there was a forum or chatroom or comments section on jw.org, would you bring that video there and inquire and question its content and context with others? An/or even submit a thread to one of the governing body members, for review?

IMAGINE IT PEOPLE! WHAT ELSE COULD ABSOLUTELY CRIPPLE THEM? QUESTIONS...FEEDBACK....INQUIRIES...COMING STRAIGHT TO THEIR OFFICIAL WEBSITE TO BE ANSWERED.

I dont often get this excited, but when i do, its pretty freaking koolio...stay excited my friends!!

Girl, you can't even get that face to face (peace!). I mean, did you call... and then get referred to the local congregation? What do you think the chances are that THEY are going to answer, respond, provide feedback... to questions/inquiries? They don't answer questions, dear Skalls... unless it's (1) their own answers, regardless of whether such is true or not, or (2) a question they want the answer to to be inculcated (in their followers).

Not trying to rain on your parade. Shoot, maybe your "squeaking" will get that wheel "oiled," who knows?

Well I never thought of asking them (the Watchtower)questions. That has never been allowed and I can't see it ever happening. We have to ask the rank and file questions but they will only parrot stuff or change the subject. They don't want to know what's wrong with the "spiritual food" the governing body is poisoning them with.

No one comes to my door here, I live in the boonies. So I won't be able to ask questions.

Near the end of the Video the man is presenting a budget to his wife with what necessary expenses they will have. He wants to have his family spend less time working and more time with his family and in the service to Jehovah.

They made sure he included (DONATIONS) in his list of necessary expenses LOL. I am sure it wasn't donations to charity or helping sick people.

As a personal, amusing thing to what you just posted about the vid... I do the budget, and I can just imagine my hubbies reaction if I portioned some of it to go to a religion. LOL. Oh my ; )

Heh...I haven't even seen the video from LAST year. Neither has my family. It got put on a shelf and forgotten about. This year will be the same.
