I am not very knowledgeable as to Mr. Mandela's life (peace to you, all!), but I would venture that given where he lived, the times, and what folks were suffering/be subjected to... communism, etc., might have seemed like a good thing. Certainly, better than what oppressors wanted, it seems.
I'm with dear PSacto (peace, dear one!) - he was a man. As we all are.

Shellamar, who personally doesn't know any communists that she would call agents of the Adversary, but CERTAINLY personally knows some "christians," whether they claim a political party or NOT... who very well might fall into such a category; at least, I KNOW they've been used toward HIS goals, whether THEY know/intend it or not...
